This is a
contract of sale between_________________ (purchaser) and
Al Fitterer
(breeder) of a male/female Maltese.

Dam: Ch XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.
This puppy is being sold solely as a companion
pet puppy. The puppy is not being sold for breeding purposes. This puppy has
been neutered by the breeder. The puppy will be registered with the AKC
with limited papers. The purchaser has 72 hours after receipt of the
puppy to have the puppy checked by a veterinarian of the purchaser’s choice.
If any health problem is found during this 72 hour period, the purchaser has
a right to return the puppy within the same 72 hour period and receive a
refund of the purchase price listed above. The purchaser is responsible for
all shipping costs regardless of whether or not the purchaser keeps the
puppy. If the puppy is to be returned to the breeder, the purchaser is
responsible for all costs to return the puppy to the breeder. The puppy must
be returned in the same condition in which it was it was received (i.e. no
haircuts, fleas, etc.) The breeder provides a health guarantee until the
puppy is two years old against any proven congenital life- threatening
health conditions. Health records will have to be provides to the breeder
with a proven diagnosis from a qualified veterinarian. If such a problem
should occur the breeder will take the puppy back and replace him with a
puppy of equal quality as soon as the breeder has one available. In the case
of death, an autopsy from a Veterinary University or a professional
pathology laboratory will have to be provided to the breeder from the
purchaser. The purchaser agrees not to sell the puppy to anyone without
written consent from the breeder. The breeder agrees to take possession of
the puppy if for any reason the purchaser is unable to be able to take care
of the puppy any longer. If this should happen the AKC papers will revert
back to the breeder. The breeder will either find a proper home for him or
keep the puppy himself. If the puppy is able to placed for money the breeder
will give the purchaser the money minus any costs incurred by the breeder
to able to resell the puppy.
A breech of this contract by the purchaser will
result in a penalty of two times the purchase price per incident.
